Bihar readies for Sona

India’s fastest developing state of Bihar is a little irked that their Bollywood daughter might be ignoring her home turf. Two back-to-back blockbusters gave Bihari Babu Shatrughan Sinha’s desi belle Sonakshi Sinha much to be proud of. Biharis are equally elated. Resentment stems from the fact that Bihar ki beti hasn’t come home since her stardom in ‘Dabangg’ opposite super actor Salman Khan. Then, the ‘Rowdy Rathore’ promotion and its roaring success should have brought Sona home. We hear that a beaming Shotgun and a radiant daughter Sona are now going to celebrate success in hometown Patna. Sonakshi's visit is being planned feverishly.
Shatruji says her absence was circumstantial. Sona spent much of her growing years there. The doting dad says Sona’s mother shares the complaint with Biharis. Sona’s hardly been home. June 2nd was Sonakshi's birthday and she left on June 3rd morning for the shooting of ‘Lootera’. Sona goes to Bihar just after playing a little girl from Patna. Now, that should mark a big event. He confesses that Biharis probably have a reason for their grouse – she’s the first gal from the state to hit it so big in Bollywood!
