Born in Mumbai, Shreyas Talpade is one of the finest actors of the film industry today. Shreyas started out acting in many Marathi soap operas and doing stage shows across Maharashtra. He made his debut in Bollywood with Nagesh Kukunoor's ‘Iqbal’, wherein he played the role of a deaf youngster aspiring to be a cricketer. The film and his performance were well received by audiences and critics alike. His other films, including ‘Dor’, ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’, ‘Bombay To Bangkok’ ‘Dil Dosti Etc’, 'Welcome to Sajjanpur’ and ‘Golmaal Returns’ did subtly well at the box-office. But, his 2007-released film ‘Om Shanti Om,’ ‘Golmaal 3’ in 2010 and ‘Housefull 2’ in 2011 went on to become blockbuster hits of his career. Now, he is waiting for his next film Shirin Kunder’s ‘Joker’. Recently, Shreyas launched a magazine on cinema in Mumbai, wherein he got candid.
