From a struggler to a winner, 30-year-old Shahid Kapoor is a renowned actor as well as a trained dancer. He started off his career by working in music videos and advertisements, and then made his bollywood debut as a background dancer in Subhash Ghai’s ‘Taal’ in 1999. Four years later, he made his debut as the lead actor in the film ‘Ishq Vishk’, which also won him Filmfare ‘Best Male Debut’ award. In 2006, with the release of ‘36 China Town’ he received another box office hit followed by the romantic drama ‘Vivah’ which was one of the highest grossing films of the year. Later in 2007, Shahid took on the role of Aditya Kashyap in ‘Jab We Met’ and the role of Charlie in ‘Kaminey’ in 2009 bagged him the nominations in Filmfare Awards for the Best Actor. Later his films like ‘Kismat Konnection’, ‘Chance Pe Dance’, ‘Paathshala’, ‘Badmash Company’ and ‘Mausam’ did only fairly well at the box office. Recently, the actor promoted his film ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ in Mumbai. On the occasion, he got candid.
