Shimla, June 25 (ANI): A court in Himachal Pradesh has framed corruption charges against Union Minister and former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and his wife Pratibha Singh today. Special Judge BL Soni pronounced the order in the court. The charges have been framed in a corruption case registered by the BJP government. Virbhadra along with his wife was booked in Aug 3, 2009 on the basis of an audio cassette released by leader Vijay Singh Mankotia in 2007 that reportedly accused Virbhadra for financial irregularities in Himachal Pradesh. Virbhadra is facing charges of misusing his official position and criminal misconduct in 1989.
