‘Chillar Party’ director Vikas Bahl has moved on to his next film titled ‘Queen’. Vikas, who hails from Delhi, says the capital will figure prominently in his next film too. He reminisces that ‘Chillar Party’ borrowed heavily from his childhood days in Lajpat Nagar (south Delhi). Similarly, ‘Queen’ too will have it as a major destination. Vikas says, Lajpat Nagar is a small town in a big city like Delhi, so people who live there are aware of both, small town life and big city life. They learn to strike a balance between both, and that's why they carry a different sort of attitude. Since he was born and brought up in Lajpat Nagar, so he can understand the people of Delhi and their psyche better. ‘Queen’ deals with the kind of experiences a simple girl can have.

About Kangna’s role, he says that she will act as a typical behenji from Lajpat Nagar! Her look will be very simple. But she'll have a character of her own. After all, Delhi influences people a lot, especially girls. There's a difference between a Delhi girl and a Mumbai girl. In Delhi, families have a very protective attitude towards daughters. They don't get out much in the evening, move out only in groups, and are usually protected. Kangna has to imbibe these traits. Kangna is also excited to play the behenji role. She says,’Queen’ is a special film, extremely close to her heart. She is looking forward to shooting it in Europe followed by Delhi.
