Bollywood seems to be back to its past era when the movies like 'Hum Phirr Milenge' were made, seen and appreciated. If such a movie would click with today's audience when they get ample opportunity to watch the latest trend in global movies is anybody's guess. Though it's a comic movie, it's made an unusual way. Not only the theme is archaic but also the technique used in making it. Since there are two other movies releasing this Friday, the audience will not be taxed with it. As the title says, it's all about the destiny of the lovers if it would bring them together again. Both leave it to their luck. The girl writes her parents' Delhi address on a Rs 100- note and drops it in the charity box of the temple. If they are lucky her boyfriend will get the currency note and reach her home or miss her in their lifetime.

Let's see how the movie is made. A woman stands in a strident saree before a mirror and asks her husband named Pappu how she's looking. The husband seems to be indifferent her and ridicules her until she starts crying. Soon, the lady brings tea for her cranky husband. Meanwhile their daughter arrives from Shimla. The woman is anxious to know why her daughter is keeping mum. The father says that quiet girls look better than the chirpy ones. This is a usual comment by the men folk in our society. Then, the elderly woman who is sister of her father explains that the girl is worried about her love affair. The movie seems to be following on the lines similar to one witnessed in 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge'. The girl is named Maneka played by Pretty Khushboo, granddaughter of Tabassum, tells the tale. She had gone for a trip out-of-town to Shimla with her friends before the wedding. There, she bumped into Rahul played by Sarvar Ahuja. As usual, their cars crashed and soon followed ice-cream sessions. Her friend is upset at this growing proximity! The mother thunders about the daughter violating the family rules!

On the other hand, the boy's parents are nice and set their son off on the mission of bringing back the girl. Meneka, while leaving Shimla, had refused to give Rahul the address of her Delhi home. In fact, she left it all to fate. She writes her address on a 100-rupee note and drops it in a temple collection box. She tells her boyfriend that if they are destined to be together, the note would find its way into his hands.

Acting-wise, we find Meneka playing her character perfectly well. She is what her character demands from her. Simple, straight and sobre. On the contrary, Rahul is a typical hero, found riding bikes and hanging out with his childhood buffoons. Though new to the filmi world, the hero as well as the heroine accomplishes their parts very well. Khushboo is pretty and charming while Sarvar looks fine but not as young as the girl.
