Director Habib Faisal heaved a sigh of relief following the news that his Hindu-Muslim romance film 'Ishaqzaade' has finally been cleared. The Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) saw the film and declared it suitable for viewing by children under parental guidance. However, the ‘PG’ declaration will have to be made in a 24-font announcement in the publicity and hoardings of the film. Faisal is very happy that it has finally been cleared without any cuts. Faisal feared that the Censors might suggest some cuts because of the film's volatile theme and mature content. In fact, he had therefore made it clear to the censor board that his film was not meant for under-age viewership.

Meanwhile, there is another good news for the director. Priyanka Chopra will be promoting it because of her cousin Parineeta Chopra playing the female lead in it. This is another matter that Priyanka feels that she has lost ground to her cousin Parineeti in the most prominent production house of Yash Raj Films. Incidentally, Parineeti had no filmi career ahead of her until a year ago, but has now turned a favorite in the YRS camp. She even fetched her every debutante award during 2011. More significant is that Parineeta will soon be seen in YRF’s new movie opposite Shahid Kapoor, once PC’s boyfriend. Isn’t it great for PC to go all out to promote Parineeti in her next film ‘Ishaqzaade’?
