Police arrest Maoist sympathisers

July 18, 2012

Hyderabad, July 18 (ANI): In a bid to curb the growing influence of Maoism, Police have arrested 18 Maoist sympathisers in Hyderabad, including 11 minors belonging to Chhattisgarh. However, the petitioner's advocate, Rabindernath has said that police had framed false charges against their clients fabricating them to be Maoists. Switching to another level of gorilla warfare the Maoists in different parts of eastern India have stepped up recruitment of children and women into their ranks, by repeatedly attacking schools to disrupt education programmes in a bid to swell their ranks, and use them as shields during their operations.
