The Bhatt camp is known for its own genre; a lot of skin exposure and sex, including long duration smooching. 'Raaz 3' is no exception. But, this time, the movie belongs to the actor Bipasha Basu who has performed the best ever. The performances of the other members of the cast and Vikram Bhatt's successful 3 D technique lend full support. Had the movie's script been a bit more attractive and screaming in the second half lesser, it would have made more impact on the audience. Wonder if the Bhatts believe in black magic and tantra mantra as shown extensively in the movie.

The movie's story revolves around an actress Shanaya played by Bipasha Basu, whose stardom is overshadowed with the entry of a younger actress Sanjana played by Esha Gupta. It's another matter that both are half sisters with common dad and different mothers! When Bips loses the Best Actress Award to Sanjana, she decides to ruin Esha with the help of her director boyfriend Aditya played by Emraan Hashmi. She also loses faith in God who didn't help her win the coveted award. One of her old loyalists advises her to resort to black magic and tantra- mantra when God has failed her. She approaches spirit played by Manish Choudhary who gives her some magic water that will help possess Esha's spirit. Bips wants Emraan to cast Esha for his next film, and make her drink magic water so as to ruin her career.

She threatens Emraan if he doesn't go her way for whatever she has done for him so far, then she will be forced to disclose their long affair via a DVD to Esha. Emraan obliges her though reluctantly and it results in Esha coming naked on the stage before the public! Emraan realizes his girlfriend's ill-motive and leaves her for Esha. Finally, Emraan starts believing in God and black music and uses it against Bips. Finally, Bips kills herself .The message is loud and clear that everyone who has risen is sure to fall, sooner or later. So, there is no place for jealousy and intrigue in life. Shagufta Rafique succeeds in writing a script containing jealousy, conflict, revenge, drama and sexuality, besides giving a message against jealousy and intrigue so much prevalent among the women of today also.

The movie's plus points are its cast's excellent performance and the successful implementation of the D 3 technique. While Bips performs exceedingly fantastic, presumably because she is passing through this kind of phase in her real and reel life! Emraan's performance in this movie will be appreciated more by the audience. Esha though only a movie old in the industry performs very well, especially when whelmed by innumerable cockroaches. She has no inhibition in long kissing too. Manish Chaudhary as spirit acts well too. The music doesn't meet the usual high expectations from the Bhatts. However, 'Rafta Rafta' and 'Deewana Kar Raha Hain' will be remembered by the audience even outside the theater. Horror and screaming are in plenty. While the first half goes well, the latter half isn't that good. Why did the spirit kill Esha's maid, one asks?

The movie is a must to watch Bipasha's never before performance.
