Remembering superstar Rajesh Khanna

New Delhi/Kolkata, July 18 (ANI): Leaders across the political spectrum today expressed grief over the death of Bollywood superstar Rajesh Khanna. The 69 year old actor, the first superstar of Bollywood, passed away after a prolonged illness at his Bandra residence in Mumbai today. Khanna will be cremated tomorrow morning. The police have cordoned off his bungalow. The actor, who enjoyed unprecedented adulation from his fans across the country, was rushed to Lilavati Hospital twice in the past one month due to exhaustion and weakness. He made his film debut in the 1966 film ‘Aakhri Khat’. He rose to prominence with his performances in films like ‘Raaz’, ‘Baharon Ke Sapne’, ‘Ittefaq’ and ‘Aradhana’.
