Vilasa By Rocky S Ace designer Rocky S, showcased a beautiful wedding trousseau at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2012 in New Delhi. The designer launched his new wedding range called ‘Vilasa’. Models sashayed down the ramp wearing lehengas, sarees, and sherwanis, with exquisite appeal. The off-beat colour blouses like those with the shades royal blue, sea green and earthy brown added the drama, while beige and ivory with an occasional gold gave a subtle look to the collection. Fashion Show By Design Students Fashion students from Surat put forth a ramp show, whereon models sashayed down the ramp clad in the exclusive creations designed on various themes. The collection titled ‘Khadi’ had jackets, jumpsuits worn with boleros, dresses, palazzos with Charkha prints on them. While in another collection ‘Virtual Wonder’, models displayed dresses and gown having fantasy or fairytale appeal to it. Cocoon By Farah & Firdos It was sheer fashion poetry on the Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2012 runway, as Farah and Firdos unraveled their beautiful silk collection. The collection was named ‘Cocoon’, as the designers used Bhagalpur silk and gave a new dimension to the fading craft. Models in dresses, sarees and jackets glided down the ramp with their bare feet encased in the silk fabric.
